Compassionate Guidance for Your Intimate Life
Meet Dr Adriana Hardisty
BMBS BCL PGCCE DCSRH MRCGP(2021)

I am a general practitioner, member of the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and a qualified GP trainer. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people in a wide range of clinical settings — from university health services to practices serving areas of high deprivation — and working with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and religious backgrounds.
These experiences have strengthened my belief that sexuality is a fundamental part of being human, and that everyone deserves the freedom to explore and enjoy it in ways that feel right for them.
In my role as a trainee psychosexual psychotherapist, I will not be providing medical diagnosis or treatment. Instead, I offer a safe, therapeutic space where individuals can explore sexual challenges and discover ways to enrich their sexual lives. I support people with a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to difficulties with desire, arousal, orgasm, painful sex, differences in sexual preference or orientation, and the impact of past experiences on sexual wellbeing.
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic principles while also incorporating practical strategies, cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness techniques. Above all, I tailor my work to the unique needs of each person, offering compassionate, non-judgemental support.
